First Restaurant, More Retail Tenants Announced for Whole Foods Shopping Center near Downtown Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – Construction hasn’t even started yet, but a new Whole Foods-anchored shopping center just south of downtown Huntsville is already proving to be a magnet for other retailers.
 
The Shops at Merchants Walk recently announced three new tenants on its website:Mountain High OutfittersMaki Fresh Sushi Rolls & Japanese Grill; andOrangetheory Fitness. The shopping center, to be located at the northeast corner of Memorial Parkway and Bob Wallace Avenue, said it is also in negotiations with Spa Sydell, a popular Atlanta-based day spa.
 
Mountain High Outfitters already has a Huntsville store at Bridge Street Town Centre, but Maki Fresh, Orangetheory Fitness and Spa Sydell would all be new to the Rocket City. Merchants Walk would also be Spa Sydell’s first location outside metro Atlanta.
