lululemon athletica to open showroom at Shops at Merchants Walk in Huntsville

A high-quality fitness and yoga clothing retailer will be the second tenant to launch at the Shops at Merchants Walk in Huntsville.
RCP Companies spokeswoman Lindsay Harper said a 2,368-square-foot lululemon athletica showroom will open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the corner of Bob Wallace Avenue and Memorial Parkway. The business joins Whole Foods Market, a specialty grocer that debuted to thousands of shoppers last week.
The Canadian company entered the Huntsville market in 2014 with a showroom at the Village of Providence. lululemon, which has a location at The Summit in Birmingham, is considered a leader among yoga and running apparel stores.
The grand re-opening at Merchants Walk will feature surprise giveaways, music and catering from Mason Dixon Bakery, a gluten-free restaurant at Bob Wallace Avenue and Whitesburg Drive.
The first phase of Merchants Walk includes a 90,000-square-foot retail center anchored by Whole Foods. The project will feature other retailers and restaurants, including Farm Burger, Spa Sydell, Mountain High Outfitters, Maki Fresh, Orangetheory Fitness, Local Taco, The Masters Aveda Salon and DressUp Boutique.
